Brazil, global investing, wealth building Brazil is the fifth-largest country by geographical area and the fourth most populous democracy in the world.

It borders every nation on the South American continent except Ecuador and Chile.

Most people who think of Brazil, conjure up images of a festive carnival on the streets of Rio de Janiero.

However, the proud people of Brazil have established themselves as the political and economic leaders in Latin America. It is still striving to become a global power, but all indications point to steady progress in that direction.

It has the ninth largest economy in the world and has the highest GDP of Latin America.

It has been expanding its presence in international financial and commodities markets, and is regarded as one of the group of four emerging economies, called BRIC.

Major export products include aircraft, coffee, automobiles, soybean, iron ore, orange juice, steel, ethanol, textiles, footwear, corned beef and electrical equipment.

The agricultural sector has been remarkably dynamic. For two decades this sector has kept Brazil amongst the most highly productive countries in areas related to the rural sector.

The agricultural sector and the mining sector also supported trade surpluses which allowed for massive currency gains and external debt paydown.

Brazil also has a sophisticated technological sector. It develops projects that range from submarines to aircraft.

It is also involved in space research, as it possesses a Launching Center for Light Vehicles and was the only country in the Southern Hemisphere to integrate the team responsible for the construction of the International Space Station.

It has a diversified middle income economy and pegged its currency, the real, to the US Dollar in 1994.

All indications point to continued growth int Brazil's economy.

Look closely at the opportunities available from this Latin American country, and be sure to acquire as much information as possible before investing your money.
