Global Investing

Global Investing, wealth building

Is global investing safe?

For many years, fear of the unknown kept me from making substantial gains in international markets.

However, it became clear to me that it is a safe and effective way to build wealth. I decided to overcome my fear and take advantage of the obvious opportunities presenting themselves to me.

China, India, Hong Kong, South Korea, Brazil and many other countries are growing at a rapid pace.

The current Chinese stock market run has made many people wealthy.

India has reported similar growth and analyst estimate sustained growth in many of these developing economies for several years to come.

Meanwhile, here in the USA, the subprime crisis and a falling dollar has brought the American economy to a crawl. Any stock related to the subprime mess is suffering. Homebuilders, Mortgage Lenders, Banking Institutions and Construction supply companies have all fallen drastically with no end in sight.

Global Investing allows individuals to diversify their portfolio. Once I began to expand my investment knowledge to an International perspective, my returns began to grow.

International investing should be done cautiously.

Currently there appears to be unrealistic expectations concerning China. Almost every newsletter I have seen is trumpeting the glorious Chinese economy. It is indeed a place of steady future growth, but in my opinion, it is due to have a strong correction. However, this does not disqualify companies with solid fundamentals.

I have isolated several global investments that could expand your portfolio now.
