Retirement Stock Recommendations

===================

Recommendation #1

===================

This company is a financial institution that has weathered the subprime crisis.

In comparison to its competitors, it had very low exposure to the real estate and credit markets.

Conservative, sound management has put it at the top of its industry.

While most financial institutions plummeted in value in the second half of 2007, this solid company only declined by 11%.

Warren Buffet, considered by most a financial genius, recently increased his holdings in this particular stock.

The estimated gorwth rate is 8% for the next five years.

They have paid a divident for 145 years consecutively, as well as raised it every year for the past 36 years. The current yield is 5.2%, more than any CD that I am familiar with.

Combine that with analysts estimates of a price increase of 7%, and you could conservatively get a double-digit gain in 2008.

I do not recommend putting more than 15% of your savings in any stock if you are a senior citizen. However, if you are looking for a safe and conservative way to increase your income, while preserving your capital, this stock will do it.
